Senior Manager Procurement (Imports)

Main Responsibilities:
Plan, procure and implement comprehensive sourcing of direct materials (raw and packaging) for timely and cost effective availability to meet the production requirement of manufacturing plants.
Responsible for dealing with international suppliers for import of raw and packing materials.
Control inventory stock levels.
Evaluate price increase demand of various suppliers on the basis of component costing or competitive prices; carryout cost analysis on the basis of cost drivers, negotiate, prepare proposal and obtain approval.
Carry out month-wise costing of raw and packing material for all SKUs to facilitate preparation of Budgets.
Keep track of international price trends and technologies for major direct raw materials and commodities.
Required Qualification:
MBA – Supply Chain or B.E. – Industrial Engineering from a HEC recognized university.
Preferred Requirements:
8 years of hands on experience and a leading role in the last 5 years.
Familiar with import procedures, customs clearances, custom tariffs and SROs.
Familiar with LC and bank documentation, EIF & Weboc.
Sound knowledge of SAP, international procurement laws and regulations.
