Job Description:
Review and update supply chain practices (SOPs) in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations or laws.
Implement new or improved supply chain processes.
Manage activities related to strategic and tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing or receiving.
Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas such as marketing, finance, institutes or quality assurance.
Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity.
Train and mentor the SC team.
Collaborate with other departments to identify vulnerabilities and close operational gaps.
Keep detailed records, generate reports and develop presentations to help management understand the procurement perspective.
Build relationships within the company and with external parties.
Review all purchase requests with respect to comparative statements.
Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers or vendors.
Monitor supplier’s performance to assess the ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
Create supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency and speed.
Sending RFQ to relevant vendors after receiving of PR and follow up quotations.
Provide all quotations to team for comparative analysis.
Ensure material deliveries within deadline.
Requirement:
Education: Masters in supply chain or related field.
Experience: At least 8 - 10 years of experience preferably in the development sector.
