HOD WAREHOUSE - INVENTORY / LOGISTICS - Procurement
Full Job Description
Establish standard warehouse practices and protocols to achieve time and cost efficient material storage and issuance.
Design and implement an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures.
Evaluate new inventory requirements, review space availability / constraints and take appropriate steps to ensure safe storage.
Examine levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages.
Ensure new supplies and material is ordered in cautious ways avoiding excessive surpluses or inefficiencies.
Monitor and document daily shipments and issuance to replenish inventory.
Ensure waste material / left overs are properly stacked and disposed-off as per standard operating procedures.
Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels.
Ensure effective documentation and accuracy of records for zero tolerance for reconciliation errors.
Ensure proper stacking of material for audit reason and ensure elimination of any risk factor of damage due to poor material / product handling.
Coordinate with import and export office for timely information related to container availability and for loading as per shipment instructions / plans.
Ensure safe and error – free loading of finished goods and completion of all required documentations for clearance at the port.
Coordinate with SHR team / HRBP for timely completion of all HR related activities and initiatives
Liaison with EHS Team to ensure personal and team compliance with EHS protocols.
