PMTF is hiring potential candidates for its Head office in Finance and Accounts department located at Landhi Karachi.
Candidate should have - years of experience working with big accounting firms
Assist in budgeting, planning, forecasting.
Ensure proper and timely submission of monthly withholding statements, service tax returns with Manage accounting tasks (including, but not limited to, cash Reconciliations, Company account statement reconciliations, cheque runs, accounts receivable transactions, accounts payable transactions, recording of revenue and expenses, etc.)
Ensure timely submission of monthly reporting required by the management time to time.
Ensure smooth implementation of department level policies and procedures as set by the CFO
Implement practices in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards, generally accepted accounting principles and company accounting policies.
Assist in budget management and financial planning & analysis accountability.
Assist in management of funds as per the requirement.
Ensure proper and timely submission of monthly withholding statements, service tax returns with income tax/sales tax authorities, quarterly advance tax and annual returns.
Maintain the daily accounting activities required to maintain the general ledger.
Manage accounting tasks (including, but not limited to, cash Reconciliations, Company account statement reconciliations, cheque runs, accounts receivable transactions, fixed asset activity, payroll, accounts payable transactions, recording of revenue and expenses, etc.)
Maintain organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions.
Reconcile general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of posting.
Engage in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Assist manager in preparing reports of Profit & Loss statement.
Fortnightly report payable & receivable, aging report.
Follow targets & coordinate in recoveries.
Prepare regular reports on risk management to Management.
Produce quarterly and annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports.
Knowledge of financial modeling and international finance and accounting standards.
Knowledge of corporate budgeting and forecasting.
Knowledge of audit requirement and internal controls.
Experience of dealing with Banks
Proficient in MS Office
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
